it's all about the game.[/color]
Yes, you've read it right. If you want to play a forum game, but you're at a loss of one to make, how about one of the following? The majority are classics across communities everywhere, but a few are originals that I have created.
In-Your-Pants
Ah, the (in)famous in-your-pants game. The rules are simple, really--type the name of a song, and add "in your pants" to the end of it. The result? Hilarity, although usually perverted hilarity.
Counting!
Have you ever seen those "Count to 1000/2000/5000/et cetera" threads anywhere? Well, that's basically what this is. The thread creator starts it off by posting "1," the next person writes "2," the next writes "3," and so on... until you've reached the goal. Sometimes, when goals are reached, you can begin counting backwards to one! Only one active counting thread is allowed at a time.
Song Connector
So, this game is pretty simple. Someone posts a song, and the next person posts a song with a word in its title/band name that's the same as the first person. It continues. (person one: The Song by That Band. person two: That Melody by A Singer. Get the picture?)
101 Ways/Things...
There are several forms of this game, the most popular being '101 Ways to Get Kicked Out of Walmart.' Other variations include '101 Things to Do In a Mall,' '101 Things to Do In an Elevator,' etc. Pretty self-explanatory, I believe; remember to number ideas accordingly.
1000 Quotes
Have a funny/memorable quotes you just want to share? Awesome. This game involves the posting of many quotes--1000, in fact. Please number your quote accordingly.
I Picture You...
A pretty simple game, actually. Just post one of the aspects of your mental picture of the person above you, whether it be hair, eye, or skin color... or fashion sense.
Mate, Date, or Kill
One of the few in-character games. [Please, don't play it out-of-character.] In-character, as in... your response is by one of your characters. Just write what your character would do to the above person's character--befriend them (mate), like them romantically (date) or hate them (kill).
Of course, you can always make your own games--in fact, it's more interesting that way. But these are just ideas.
