make us famous.[/color] Members, please keep the following things in mind when you're advertising Solstice on another site.
001 : Read all of the other site's advertising rules before you post! If you break any of the rules, it's impolite and makes our site look bad. 002 : Skim through the advertisement threads--all pages--before making a thread... you never know, another Solstice member could have already hit that site, and it's not nice to post an ad for the same site, twice. 003 : If you're not already a member of the other site, and you need to post as a guest... use your nickname, please. Never use "Solstice Admin" or anything to that effect.

Just beyond the outskirts of New York City, in a relatively secretive location, lies the esteemed Solstice Academy. To any of the few civilians that are aware of the school's existence, it's merely a boarding school for the incredibly academically-gifted with rigidly exclusive entrance opportunities. Well, the latter is correct--entrance is exclusive--but as for the rest...
That's just the cover story.
In truth, Solstice Academy harbors individuals (of the teen through young-adult age group) with supernatural abilities--awe-inducing or not. Many of them aren't even academically-gifted, as the cover states. Started by an unknown man sometime in the mid-late 1900s, the Academy attempts to provide a safe environment for the "unique" teenagers, for them to explore their potential and be among their own kind. If you take away the whole "supernatural" concept away, Solstice is like any other school. They teach the core subjects, have many features of a regular boarding school, and they have the regular adolescent drama. Of course.
Play students in this special school, have fun throughout the streets of the nearby NYC, buy things for your account using virtual money, and above all--have fun.
Come on, you never know what'll happen at Solstice Academy.
