He’s ignorant of the many weaknesses that he does have, or at least, he ignores them on purpose as not to lower his self-esteem. He’s got a temper and a bit of an attitude problem, not to mention he just loves being in the center of attention. In fact, if he’s not the one everyone is looking at, he’ll make everyone interested. This is because of the lack of attention he got in his childhood though he’d never admit that to anyone.
Dominic is your class clown, the one everyone loves for stalling and stalling the teacher. The strange thing is, he never actually gets detention afterward, so causing trouble is not a problem for him, especially because he needs to keep those grades up, or else his parents will be downright furious with him. And he can’t have that. In fact, Dominic lives to please his Mommy and Daddy. But you didn’t hear that from me.
He enjoys his physical activities; he uses them to get all his frustration out. He’ll be playing basketball, running track, or swinging a baseball bat after school just to clear his head. Dominic is surprisingly good at managing his time, so he always has time left to study and do his homework afterward, like a good boy should.
S P E C I A L A B I L I T Y:
To put it plain and simple, Dominic is a liar and when he lies, you believe him. He could tell you that the moon is made out of cheese and nine times out of ten, you’d believe him. There is a slight catch- he needs eye contact. But besides that, there isn’t really a way around his power. It’s very useful and it helps Dominic out a lot- in fact, he abuses it on a daily basis. He’s the world’s biggest liar and he doesn’t even care.
‘Sides the fact that he can lie to you, you can’t lie to him. That’s what’s really annoying. Dominic doesn’t know how to stop that part from happening, but he wishes he did know how to control it. He hates it when people start telling him personal stuff since he really isn't a good listener. He doesn’t want to know every frikkin’ thing about someone. He’s not a shrink after all.
T I M E F O R A P H Y S I C A L : Dominic has that whole boyish charm thing going on for him. He’s
With a square jaw and prominent cheekbones, Dominic’s face would be described as ‘cute’ or ‘adorable’ but never ‘sexy’ or ‘god-I-must-have-him-all-to-myself.’ He takes after his father in height, reaching 6 feet 4 inches, which is tall enough to lean on the little guys. His locks are a plain brown shade,
He got his mother’s eyes and he’s very thankful for that, as they are attractive and alive with emotion. They’re a pale green with a richer olive tone near the pupil, making for an interesting look that draws people in. You just have to look into those baby green’s… enticing and convincing and the source of his power.
Finally, his skin tone is
H I S T O R Y: Dominic was born to the rich and talented Westley family, a family famous for all the cool tricks they could do. Mama Westley could fly with no wings. Papa Westley could control any machine there was. So it was no surprise when the two had four talented children, each very precious and very unique. Their eldest, Wendy, could also control machines like their father. Richard could pick up things 1000 times his size. Harrison could manipulate temperature and David took after his mother, flying at speeds up to 250 miles per hour. And then, along came Dominic. Who did nothing.
It was a great horror to the parents when they thought their son—their last born, the one who inheirted the father’s looks and the mother’s eyes—was powerless. Normal. Neither could believe it. It just wasn’t possible.
Dominic’s childhood wasn’t very fun, though he was spoiled with any gift he wanted. His siblings all made fun of him for being untalented. ‘Handicapped’ they called him. Dominic would cry for hours underneath his bed. And when his parents asked him what was wrong, he lied and told him “nothing” and his parents, of course, believed him.
Dominic soon grew desperate for acceptance and attention; he started doing horrible things. He broke toys and ran away from home twice, only to be picked up by his talented flying brother later. Dominic grew more and more needy, especially when his siblings all started going to a special school, one by one, and his parents got in more and more fights over him. His mother wanted to let him go to a normal school for normal kids, but his father wouldn’t let her.
“He’s not normal! WAIT. He’ll be just as special as the rest of them!”
“But he’s already special! Don’t you see that? Our boy is special in a different way.”
“I don’t goddamn care about that kind of special!”
It was his mother who packed her bags and then fought for custody. It was his mother who sent him to a normal school for a while, until the report cards came in. Dominic had told his mother that he had made all A’s and she could just sign the report card without even looking at the grades. And she believed him, not even bothering to check if her son was lying or not. Later on, she was called in for a conference about her son’s grades… were were horrible. That’s when Mrs. Westley realized that her son was the right kind of special after all.
