personality;;
“If superheroes exist, then I’d be a villian…”
Adonis Cole is a quiet artist, always alone, always brooding, with a grim expression plastered on his face at all times. He is not one to talk and is not one to socialize at all. He’s a bit infuriating, with his quiet persona and emotionless stare. It gets creepy and many students just stay away from him… and that’s how he prefers it. There isn’t much to elaborate on with him, because he’s a very simple boy.
Despite the fact that he deliberately alienates people, Adonis is lonely and always has been. He’s grown used to the loneliness of his existance but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t wish for a friend… and as weird as this sounds, a hand to hold. Adonis can’t, unfortunatley, have either of those, unless the person stays a good arms length away at all times.
Adonis loves his art and takes comfort in his drawings, which are pretty darn good if I say so myself. He spends all his time in his room, drawing and coloring, creating little comic books about superheroes. He’s kind enough when people approach him, or if someone asks for his help. He’ll always try to give a hesitant, uneasy smile when forced to socialize, and speak in low undertones. He makes other people uncomfortable though and sometimes, they even pity him as he looks so pathetic when trying to act like a normal teen.
special ability;;
Adonis’s ability is extremely dangerous, the most dangerous I’ll ever create myself. He can transfer energy—life—from one vessel to another. For instance, if he touches a plant, he’ll take the energy, or life, that the plant has, killing it. He can then put the energy into, say, a stuffed bear, and it will become animated for a short while of time. Adonis can control the stuffed bear and make it walk across a room or something—almost like a puppet master—but the time it lasts depends on just how much energy he took. He doesn’t have to kill things, but Adonis is terrible at controlling his ability and usually takes it all.
He doesn’t have to give the energy to another vessel. He can hold it in his own body, usually making him slightly stronger, with better senses. This again, lasts only a limited amount of time and depends on the amount of energy. Also, he can put the energy into something already dead, again, animating it for a short period of time. If he takes enough energy, he could probably bring a person or an animal back to life, but it would involve killing another.
Adonis’s ability is very powerful and too powerful for Adonis to control. He doesn’t know how to not take energy from someone, so touching is strictly off limits. Even if he wears gloves, he’ll still steal energy from plants, animals, or humans. It usually goes slower if he is wearing clothes, and that’s one of the reason he wears as many layers as he can. That, and the fact that Adonis is always cold. The energy gives him warmth and it’s actually enjoyable for him… which scares Adonis of himself. He figures that he’ll become addicted to the pleasure his power gives him if he uses it often. And so he doesn’t. Ever. He rarely goes outside so he can’t kill any plants and you’ll never see him in large crowds.
history;;
Adonis was a normal, happy kid who loved to fingerpaint. That is, until his power surfaced and he began killing things.
At first, he only had enough power to kill bugs. He would chase spiders and roaches around the house and watch in awe as they dropped dead as he lay a finger on them. Soon though, he started killing bigger things… a frog he found outside. The neighbor’s beagle. Until he almost killed his best friend, a little boy by the name of Jack. They had been holding hands at the zoo when suddenly, Jack began feeling weak. Thank goodness his mother had the power that she did—the power of healing. They found out about his ‘special’ ability and then no one could touch him again. No one could give him a hug, kiss him goodnight, or even pat him on the head. Everyone was too afraid. He was six years old.
