Silver stopped in front of the old, broken-down house. We're here, she said in her child-like voice. I wonder if the door's gonna hold up again... she trailed off, and then knocked hard on the door, which, miraculously, stayed up. Coming! came an gleeful voice, as the door was flung open. Welcome to Stratos's Healing! I'm the best there is! So, naturally, i expect a good wa- he cut himself off as he noticed it was Link and Silver. His face fell. You guys? he groaned. Not again. Is it possible for you two to not injure yourselves seriously once a month?! Oh, who's your friend? Just a girl lookin' for revenge, said Silver as she elbowed her way in. she hates me. The guy, Stratos, rolled his eyes as if to say, well, who doesn't? instead, he ushered Aria in. Sometime later, Link was comfortably asleep, and Stratos was complaining about the amount of work he had to deal with, but he was secretly gleeful. Link was asleep, so he couldn't detect any of Stratos's mischevious administrations to the area around Link. Some sisters might have felt it their duty to warn their brother about this kind of thing, but Silver just shrugged it off, instead motioning for Aria to follow her outside. Once they were there, she smiled. So, I said we would talk. Tell me your problems you have with me.

Aria followed Silver outside, much more composed now after an evening of comparative peace and enjoying Stratos's hospitality. If she was wary at all about Silver's intentions, she didn't show it. "So, I said we would talk. Tell me your problems you have with me," said Silver. Aria was slightly amused. She still intensely disliked the girl, but that didn't mean she couldn't be hospitable. Aria was most often like that, unless she'd really and truly lost her temper, like she had back at the common room. As it was, though, she tried to keep it light, keep her hatred to herself, so that she wouldn't end up using her power, or bitch-slapping Silver, as she had done a few hours before. "Oh, where to start," she said softly, looking not at Silver, but into the distance. Her facial expression was neutral, unreadable. "But before I launch into an extremely long description of those - ahem - problems, I have an honestly curious question to ask you. How did you even know that I had a friend who died? Like, Link could have told you, I guess, but that would've had to be before either of you knew me. Isn't that a bit of a morbid thing to be discussing, especially since I was a totally random stranger at the time?" She didn't speak angrily, or even accusingly. She just sounded kind of matter-of-fact, offhand almost. Curious. For the first time in an evening she'd spent mostly with her eyes trained on the floor, or staring off into nowhere, she glanced Silver's way, awaiting her response.

Silver gave that slow smile again. Word gets around. Two little birds told me; one, a girl named Amara. All she ever does is hide in the shadows and listen. And Link told me that a girl named Aria Wren had recently lost her best friend, and told me to avoid you. Don't antagonize her, Silver, he told me. Try not to piss her off like you do to most people. And for the love of God, don't pick a fight with her. She's powerful too. Not to my extent, though. You just manipulate fire and water. I can freeze the water and blow out the fire. And you have to have energy stored up to do that. I can do whatever I want, whenever I want with my powers. to prove her point, thunder boomed and lightning cracked just as rain began falling in buckets. Stop that! camed Stratos's yelling. This house is not waterproof, you know! Don't make me come down there, you evil wench! What did you call me? Silver asked calmly, but with sparks in her eyes as she glared through the window. Um, sweet princess? That's more like it. she turned back to Aria. Was your friend as weak as you? she wasn't being insulting. To her, everyone was as weak as a little baby compared to herself. I hate lies, so whatever I say will be blunt. The girl waited, wanting to see what Aria's reaction was. So, Link had told her not to rile Aria up. What did it matter? Nothing. Silver could care less about Aria and her pathetic little friend. The only things that mattered to her was her power and herself... oh, and Link and her friend, I guess. Sad life. Sad existence. A living hell to most people. To Silver, it was the most fun she would ever have. And it wasn't much.

Aria snorted at Silver and Stratos' angry dialogue. Evil Wench... that suited Silver more than she knew. Turning her gaze back on Aria, Silver said, “Was your friend as weak as you? I hate lies, so whatever I say will be blunt.” She seemed to be, once again, anticipating a reaction from Aria. She didn't know Aria very well – Aria had reacted back in the common room because she'd been unprepared for Silver's ... extreme kindness. Cough, cough. Gag. But now Aria bristled, but wasn't bothered much. She watched Silver carefully, and was a bit surprised when the anticipation faded from her eyes and was replaced by something that resembled pain. Pain, and scorn. It was gone as soon as it came, and Aria spoke. ”Evil Wench, eh?” she said, mockingly. ”You know, I really dislike you. But good you got that out there. I don't like lies either.”
”No, Mairi wasn't nearly as weak as me,” she continued. ”Unlike me, she could manipulate all four elements. She was super-powerful. The effects of her power were rather like yours, though she didn't wreak quite as much havoc with hers.” Of course, it was quite possible that Mairi had used them to kill her own father, but Silver didn't need to know that. Plus, Marie wasn't flippant about hurting people. Silver was. So they weren't that similar after all. Good – she didn't want to ever think about her friend in the same sentence as this little... evil wench... again. Aria wondered when this conversation could end. She hoped it would be soon; she wanted to stay because she was worried about Link, but not if it meant having an insult-match with Silver, the one who'd hurt him in the first place, now standing here acting like she was God's gift, using her power on anyone who challenged her. It was very irritating.
ooc; sorry for the delay.
