Quillan In the shadows...A slight, skinny boy stormed along the corridor, hands clenched into tight fists. He was so sick of some of the people here! All he did was keep to himself, but no, they felt the need to provoke him! He stomped onwards, ignoring the weird looks people were giving him. He stopped briefly when he reached a classroom door, trying the handle. It wasn't locked. He slipped into the empty classroom and made his way over to a corner, kicking over a chair angrily on his way.
He sat down heavily and tucked himself into the corner, drawing his legs up to his chest and glaring out into the room, his blue eyes even more cold looking than usual. He ran a hand exasperatedly through his dark dishevelled hair, and sighed. Two drops of red landed on his jeans. He blinked in surprise, and raised a hand to his nose. Warm liquid was dripping from it. Well, the guy had hit him. He sighed again, wiping at the blood with the back of his hand. This was just one of those days. (Reserved for Ice with Emily)

E.M.I.L.Y -glow little firefly glow- -
No matter what the teacher said, she wasn't really a distraction. And it wasn't like she was trying to be difficult... she wasn't doing it on purpose. Why didn't the teacher see that? Emily wandered down the hallway with the hall pass in her hands. She was supposed to go to the bathroom until she could 'control' herself. But she had no plans to do that. Class would be over soon and she already has all the notes... there wasn't any need for her to go back. She sighed and paused, looking down at her hands.
Her hands. It was more subtle now, the light emitted through her pores. She had been trying to tuck away the light so people wouldn't stare-- but she failed. But now that she was alone without all the eyes on her, she was able to force the glowing down to just her hands. But it was exhausting. She hated trying to control her power since it just made her get a massive headache.
But practice makes perfect right?
Emily looked back up and frowned. Who was that boy? He was speeding down the hallways, clearly upset, if not totally pissed. She glanced around at all the other people before scurrying after him. What was wrong? Who was he anyway? She saw him duck into an empty classroom and Emily paused at the doorway. He'd be mad, she bet, if she entered.
But she was curious and concerned. So she opened the door slowly, peeking in. He was sitting in the darkest corner, curled into himself like a turtle. He had messy black hair, eyes of blue and... was that blood? "You're bleeding!" Emily exclaimed and barged in, shutting the door behind her. She didn't wait for his reaction or even an invitation-- she just plopped down in front of them with her head tilted.
"What happened?" [/size]

Quillan In the shadows...Quillan looked up, blue eyes round and shocked. He hadn't expected anyone to come in here. He almost shouted, but then he saw that it was girl, and she actually looked quite concerned. That was a first. "I know." He said after a moment. Normally he would have found it quite amusing that she was stating the obvious, but right now he was too angry.
As the girl plopped down in front of him, he looked more surprised. Was this a joke? Was she going to pretend to be nice, then make fun of him later? It didn't seem like it, but Quillan was still uncertain. "I...A bunch of idiots thought it would be a great idea to annoy me, so I shouted some abuse at them, and one of them hit me." He explained.
